サキシマスジオ（Elaphe taeniura schmackeri）は，スジオナメラ（タイリクスジオ）（E. taeniura taeniura）の亜種です。宮古島，八重山諸島の固有亜種です。本亜種及びスジオナメラはナメラ属（Elaphe）のメンバーとされてきましたが，Utigar et al. (2002) はスジオナメラをナメラ属からOrthriophis属に移し，Schulz (2010) はスジオラメラの亜種である本亜種をO. taeniura schmackeriとしてOrthriophis属に移しました。その後の分類の経緯は分かりませんが，2018年7月にアクセスしたThe Reptile Databeseでは，スジオナメラを再びナメラ属に戻しています。本サイトでは便宜上，The Reptile Databeseに従いました。
