| 分類に関するメモ：モツレイトグサは，Segi (1951)がPolysiphonia richardsoniiとして報告しました。Maggs & Hommersand (1993) は，P. richardsoniiをP. fibrillosa（現 Leptosiphonia fibrillosa）の異名同種（シノニム）としました。Savoioe & Saunders (2019) は，Leptosiphonia属を再評価し，モツレイトグサをイトグサ属（Polysiphonia）からLeptosiphonia属に移しました。
Hollenberg & Norris (1977) は，Segi (1951) が報告したP. richardsoniiは，P. johnstonii（現 Melanothamnus johnstonii）であるとしています。本サイトでは，吉田（1998）に従い，モツレイトグサをP. richardsonii（= L. fibrillosa）としました。 |
