Misapplied name

Dictyota indica auct. non Sonder ex Kützing (1859: 8. Pl. 17, Fig. 1): 岡村 1936: 161-162; Noda 1965: 31-32. Fig. 4; 1969: 38; 1987: 141-142. Fig. 114.

分類に関するメモ：Noda (1965, 1987) は，Dictyota indica (現 Canistrocarpus cervicornis)を新潟県佐渡島，粟島から報告しました。吉田・田中（1998）は，Noda (1965) が報告した"D. indica"は本来のD. indicaとは別種であり，誤同定であると指摘しています。標本に基づいた精査が行われていないため，現時点では実体不明種と考えられます。
