分類に関するメモ：本種は，Acrochaetium occidentaleに充てられていました（吉田ら 2015）。Abbott (1962)は，Acrochaetium occidentaleをA. barbadensisの異名同種（シノニム）とし，Wynne (1998) などもAbbott (1962)の見解に従っています。
