Type specimen:

分類に関するメモ：ヒメイギス（Ceramium fastigiatum）は，マツバライギス（C. cimbricum）の異名同種（シノニム）として扱われてきました（吉田 1998，吉田ら 2015）。Itono (1972, 1977)は，ヒメイギスを"C. fastigiatum"ではなく，"C. fastigiatum f. flaccidum"としています。Ceramium fastigiatum f. flaccidumは現在C. cimbricum f. flaccidumとして，C. cimbricumの品種とされています。Itono (1972, 1977)の見解に従えば，ヒメイギスは異名ではなく，C. cimbricum f. flaccidumとして，マツバライギスの品種として扱うのが適当と考えられます。
