分類に関するメモ：ヒメフクロツナギの学名として，Chylocladia podagrica Harvey ex J. Agardhを基礎異名（basionym）とする"Erythrocolon podagricum (Harvey ex J. Agardh) J. Agardh ex Kylin"が知られています。Grunow (1874)の同じページにChylocladia podagrica HarveyとErythrocolon podagricum J. Agardh（E. podagricum (Harvey) J. Agardhとして）が掲載されている上，Mueller (1874) にChylocladia podagrica J. Agardhが掲載されているため非常にややこしいことになっていますが命名法上はErythrocolon podagricum J. Agardhが正しいようです。この場合，Chylocladia podagricaをどのように扱ったら良いか難しいところですが，本リストでは暫定的にErythrocolon podagricum J. Agardhの異名同種（Heterotypic synonym）としました。本種のタイプ産地については，Silva et al. (1987) が"Syntype localities: Tongatapu and Haafeva Island, Tonga; Ovalau Island, Fiji"としています。
