| 分類に関するメモ：ベニボッスは，イトグサ属（Polysiphonia）の1種として記載されました。Kim & Boo (1999)は，ベニボッスをイトグサ属からNeosiphonia属に移しました。Díaz-Tapia et al. (2017)は，ベニボッスをNeosiphonia属からMelanothamnus属に移しました。
Young & Kapraun (1985) は，Segi (1951) が報告したP. tongatensisは，P. eastwoodiae（現 Melanothamnus eastwoodiae）であるとしています。本サイトでは，吉田（1998）に従い，ベニボッスをP. tongatensis（= M. tongatensis）としました。 |
