分類に関するメモ：Rhodonematella subimmersaは，ロドコルトン属（Rhodochorton）の1種として記載されました。Clayden & Saunders (2010) は，ロドネマテラ属（Rhodonematella）を設立し，Rhodochorton subimmersum をロドコルトン属からロドネマテラ属に移しました。
