| 分類に関するメモ：ベニタサはPorphyra属のメンバーとされてきましたが，Sutherland et al. (2011)はWildemania 属を再評価し，ベニタサをPorphyra属からWildemania 属に戻しました。
分類とは直接関係ありませんが，「タサ」という名称が気になったので調べてみました。遠藤（1911）と殖田（1932）によると，「タサ」の名称は千島列島でアイヌ民族（千島アイヌ）がアマノリ類の1種（Wildemania tasa）に対して用いていたものです。「イヨヌイタサ」が略されたもので，婚姻の際の引出物として新婦と換わるという意味があるそうです。 |
