| 分類に関するメモ：岡村（1907）が新組み合わせを発表したEnantiocladia latiusculaは，分類学上はイソムラサキの異名同種（シノニム）となりますが，岡村（1907）の記載はアイソメグサ（Enantiocladia okamurae）に相当します。 |

| 和名の由来は諸説ありますが，押し葉にすると紫色（褐色？）の染みが出るから「磯紫」という説が比較的分かり易いかもしれません。 |
